Never a Dull Moment in November!

From the One-and-Only Pumpkin Catapulting World Championships to the Winterfest of Lights, November Near the Beach has Fun for the Entire Family!

Although you might have packed up your beach towel and flip flops, beach season is not over! This coming weekend, November 4-6th, Delaware will host the World Championship Pumpkin Catapulting contest in Bridgeville, just one hour west of Bethany Beach. From catapults to air canons, pumpkins will fly further than you could ever imagine! Then, starting mid-November the beach begins to light up! The Winterfest of Lights and Avenue of Trees takes place November 17th at Northside Park in Ocean City, MD where more than one million holiday lights and animated displays will come to life. The fun continues on Saturday November 19th in Ocean City with the Light Up Downtown Festival which consists of more holiday displays, kid’s activities and holiday shopping specials. Then in Bethany Beach beginning Saturday December 3 is the Weekend Wonderland with the lighting of the town tree, holiday caroling, trolley rides and more!
